Volunteers play an essential role at Solshine Reverie to provide the best experience we possibly can. Be a part of the inaugural festival in a more involved way, become a Volunteer and join our team! General Volunteers assist with the basic operations of Solshine Reverie including… Box Office, Wristband Check, General Store, Bar Help, & More! General Volunteers will work three (3) five (5) hour shifts throughout the weekend. Everyone will work at least two shifts Friday through Sunday with the option of requesting shifts on Thursday or Monday. Shifts begin at 8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm.
General Volunteer responsibilities throughout the weekend may include:
Wristband Scanning // VIP, Stage, Camping and other entry check points // Security assistance // Box office assistance // Front Gate assistance // VIP bar and campground assistance // General Store and Bar assistance
Green Team supports all aspects of… Recycling, Composting, Sorting Post-Disposed Recycling and Compost, and Other Greening Initiatives During The Event. Green Team volunteers may work a mix of festival grounds and sorting tent shifts. Each shift is 5-hours in the festival grounds and 4-hours in the sorting tent. Volunteers may request all-sorting, though shifts are assigned as needed. Shifts begin at 8am, 12pm or 4pm.
Green Team volunteers have the following responsibilities:
Sorting collected recycling and compost for appropriate processing // Maintaining the waste stations, teaching patrons how to properly dispose compost, recycling and garbage (Garbage Goalie!) // Assisting to keep the grounds clean // Assist in activities and education
You will purchase a Deposit Ticket for your chosen team. You will NOT be able to fill out an application for volunteering without purchasing your Deposit Ticket first.
Once you purchase a deposit ticket, you receive a link and password to the matching application in your confirmation email.
If you have purchased a deposit and submitted an application, you’re all set! If the application is correctly filled out, you are automatically accepted. If we find any errors in the application, you will be notified via email.
About one month out from the event, volunteer managers will correspond with confirmed volunteers via email regarding scheduling, arrival and all other info necessary to complete your hours.
WHAT YOUR RECEIVE IN EXCHANGE FOR HOURS WORKED:
(1) 3 GA Day Pass
(1) Thursday Pre-Party pass
VIP upgrades, Late Night tickets, RV passes and all other Non GA tickets must be purchased on TOP of your deposit and will not be counted towards your refund.
REFUNDS
Refunds will take up to 15 working days (or 3 weeks) post festival to process.
Refunds are only processed if you have completed three full length shifts on the team you choose.
